5th Grade – Class of ’28

Rainbow Crepe Cooking Class

Do you love crepes, rainbows or both? Please join your fellow 5th graders Grace and Lena, plus former GH student Akemi Sheibley, and their Girl Scout Troop 41169 for a virtual French cooking and culture class!  More details below:

WHAT: Learn to Make Rainbow Crepes!

WHEN: Wednesday, 3/17 from 2:30 – 4:00 PM

WHERE: Online via Zoom (participants will be sent a meeting link after they sign up)

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Chase away those quarantine blues (plus add some more pandemic pounds) by learning how to make festive Rainbow Crepe cake to enjoy with your family  (pic below to whet your appetite)! We will learn a little bit about France, the country where crepes originated, then get busy mixing and flipping to make your own rainbow crepe cake!  An ingredient list, prep list, and recipe will be sent to attendees before the event.  Students will need to have basic experience working in a kitchen and be comfortable using a stove on their own or have an adult present to assist.  Please note, this class will be taught by fellow 5th graders so please be considerate, respectful, and ready to have some fun!  NOTE: If you need financial assistance to purchase ingredients, please e-mail Chau at cphotung@comcast.net and we can provide a PTA scholarship.

SIGN UP LINK: Class is limited to 25 participants so sign up early to save your spot!
