We hope you will join us for this first ever 4th Grade Math Night!
Come spend an hour with Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Sophusson to learn more about the Math in Focus curriculum and the exciting things that your children are learning in math this year. There will be a short presentation followed by a break-out session where parents can visit individual stations to learn more about specific math topics and resources/games available to support your child’s learning outside of the classroom. This evening is for both parents and students so we will have West Seattle High students from the Seattle Public Library’s Math Buddies program available to introduce the kids to some fun new math games.
The presentation will also include a brief Q&A portion. We would like to ask that you please submit your questions in advance so that we can use the limited time we have in the most effective way possible. Please e-mail your questions to Chau Pho Tung at firstname.lastname@example.org.
