Registration for the Genesee Hill chapter of Girls on the Run (GOTR) opens this Monday, 12/4/17. GOTR is a nation-wide, after-school program that uses running to empower 3rd through 5th grade girls. Registrations are accepted until 2/16/18, however, there are only 15 spots on the team, so register early to reserve a spot! The program runs from 3/5 – 5/22, culminating with a 5K on 5/20/18. Classes will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 – 4 PM. The cost of the 10-week program is $200. Scholarships are offered on a sliding scale so that any girl who wants to can participate – no one will be turned away based on inability to pay. Volunteer Coaches Needed for GOTR Spring 2018 Season – We still need more coaches for the GOTR 2018 season.
