Our Volunteer of the Month is Lori Sherick.

Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month for December, Lori Sherick. She is mom to Samantha and Joe, 3rd graders.

“When I am not volunteering at Schmitz Park I Iike to golf, run, snowboard and go to Bakery Nouveau.” Lori Sherick
For the short month of December, Lori worked 14.4 hours.  She worked in Ms Noreng/ Ms. Frazzini’s classroom as well as Ms. Well’s classroom.  She volunteered to assist with the Global Passport Challenge, for field trips, and as a lunchroom monitor.  Thank you so much for all of your hard work Lori!  You have earned the “Volunteer of the Month” parking space for January.

“She came and talked to the kiddos in room 8 about how to use sensory materials when our bodies need to calm down or rev up a bit. She also helped our class make a personal fidget for each student to take home and try out.” – Ms. Frazzini

“Lorie Sherick has been an incredible volunteer. She comes without fail every week to read with the kids. She is so patient and understanding in meeting the students’ needs. All of the kids look forward to her coming and will ask if she can read with them.” – Ms. Wells
